France is synonymous with wine and is a great country to visit in the summer. France creates more wine every year than any other country. I have shortlisted some of the best French wine producing regions in this article.

Of course the region is most famous for its sparkling wine however still wine is still produced in this area as well. The Loire Valley is a popular and beautiful tourist destination which also has some amazing wines produced along the river banks of the Loire River. The Loire Valley is split into 4 popular wine producing areas with the Upper Loire valley being one of them, which produces the famous Sauvignon Blanc.
