Do You Know Anyone Who Hates Having A Bbq?
Thursday, December 1st, 2011It’s so much more sociable than other methods. you will love the following recipe I have for you. Each step follows another. It’s easy enough to do.
Let’s not hang about. We’ve got something good to enjoy here. One of my favourites today, portugese style bbq sardines. Obviously we’re going to need some sardines to begin with.Weber Q 100 Try to get the largest ones you can. Atleast the length of your hand.
You’ll probably need 2-3 per person. Depending on how much the eat. The only thing to do with them is have them gutted.
Leave their tails and head on and in tact. Can you gut a fish like this yourself?
If not some come already prepared or ask your fishmonger. Ok, now give them a good wash under a running tap.
You can take a few of the rib bones out at this point. Now it’s seasoning time. This parts great! Give them a light coat of olive oil. Really light!
Now take some Rock salt and give them a good rubbing over with it. Put some inside as well, a nice pinch of it. You cn also add other things if you wish at this stage.
Some people add garlic inside or even olives. Personally I leave it just the way it is now. Weber Q 100 BBQWe just need to cook them off on the barbecue now.
Make sure you turn them so it’s evenly cooked. Ensure it’s cooked through, espeically the inner flesh. The scales will crisp up and looked scrumptious.Weber Q 100 Review They don’t take long usually 10 minutes depending on the heat.
Now take them and plate them up. Almost ready to serve. Now squirt lemon juice over the outside of the fish.
Truly delicious. Give them a go yourself.
